Christmas Luncheon in December
Undoubtedly one of our standout fixtures of the year, the Anderson Foundation Christmas Luncheon can always be trusted to kick off the holiday season in style.
Firstly, it’s hard to not get into the spirit of things when we’re surrounded by the splendour and grandiose interiors of Rosewood Hotel in London, one of the capital’s favourite hotels and venues.
From the welcome reception to the after party in The Mirror Room of the ground floor of the hotel, guests are given an unforgettable day and night amongst friends of new and old, all whilst enjoying a luxurious 4 course luncheon Rosewood style and enjoying the varied, high quality entertainment programme on display.
The Charity Auction is an important part of proceedings and serves two purposes within our aims for the day; to provide guests with an impeccable, enjoyable experience and to raise vital funds for important causes.
You’d be forgiven for thinking the charity auction was solely a part of the entrainment schedule when the inimitable Johnny Gould gets on the mic, wowing the room with stories, fun and a glimpse into life as a talented sports broadcaster of many years experience and acclaim - even if Mr Gould would deliver his own CV with a little more of his self deprecating wit!
The 2023 edition of the Christmas Luncheon served to benefit an incredible eight charities, each providing wonderful service to communities within a range of different causes as their work, individually and collectively, impacts people across the country. This events beneficiaries where: Evelina London Children's Charity, New Life Babies, Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), DT38, Chance to Shine, Royal Trinity Hospice, SHINE, Mates in Mind.
